Contracts

Breach of contract is a common type of legal problem we often become involved in.  Whether it is a written or an oral agreement or contract, the services of an attorney is usually needed to both interpret and enforce the terms of the agreement or contract.

Many times a client who has been cheated believes there is nothing they can do because they didn't have a written contract.  Not so.  In addition to many consumer protection statutes, the law does recognize oral agreements as being valid as long as they meet certain criteria.

If you believe you have an agreement that has been broken by the other party and, as a result, you have suffered some kind of loss, you may have a breach of contract action that we can help you with.  Call us to discuss your situation.  We'll help you if we can.

Note:  The statements above, which are based on New York law, are intended to inform, not to advise.  You should consult an attorney before making decisions in this area.
