José Luis Torres graduated from Columbia University School of Law in 1976.  He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and is admitted to the courts of the State of New York, the federal courts in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of the United States.  He has over 40 years of experience and is bilingual in English and Spanish.  His clientele includes international clients, writers, artists and many professionals and cooperative housing corporations.  He is also an experienced appellate litigator having had three of his many successful appeals featured on the front page of the New York Law Journal.
